Description

Matco Aircraft Landing Systems’s MCMC-4HP master cylinder uses a REMOTE reservoir. The MCMC-4HP can be used in individual or dual brake applications. HP series cylinders use .50 inch bore for higher pressure. Buna- n orings are used in this assembly. Mil-H-5606 aircraft hydraulic fluid or compatible fluids are recommended. DOT5 may be used but not DOT5.1 which contains glycol. DOT3 and DOT4 may not be used and will cause immediate damage to the seals.

DIMENSIONS

The MCMC-4HP master cylinder measures 8.0+-0.25 inches from end to end and 7.5+-0.25 inches from mounting hole to mounting hole. A 0.50 inch diameter piston is used. Available stroke is approximately 1.388 inches and displacement is 0.27 cubic inches. The cylinder and clevis cross holes are 0.190 inch.   The ports on all Matco Aircraft Landing Systems master cylinders are 1/8 inch NPT (except the MC-4E and MC-4CT).

The MC-4HP has an adjustable clevis. An optional clevis, the MC- 17L is available that increases the length by 0.50 inches.
